My Social Sciences

What is Social Science you say? Example Social Sciences teaches us about how societies work and how people affect and participate in our nation ( NZ) and our world. History is a part of Social Sciences as it talks about what happened to people in the past.

Flower mosaic

 Hi my readers,

Today I will tell you about my flower mosaic so I can tell you how I made it OK. So I drew a flower then we grabbed some felts and outlined it in different colors. The we grabbed same coloured pieces so you can just grab paper or cardboard and color paper  put it on the cardboard.  Cut it how it is then you stick it on. Then you are done, oh sorry we are not done. So then you grab a black piece of paper did you write your name on the back then you are done. It took lots of hours.

Bob the story fixer

Hi my readers,

We are learning how to fix surface features are little bits in your writing like punctuation, repeated words and spelling. We need to use surface features because it makes our writing easier for other people to read. An example is: thissentsaChulymakessen Zbuttisrellyhrd to reed This sentence doesn't have surface features. We had to fix our writing if too many words were the same.  What is a surface features?

On our room 9 writing site our teacher put on a link to a story we needed to fix. We made our own copy. We had to read it once and find the end of the sentence. We would put capital letters after the full stop. We change the sentence after a new idea.

I had to read it again and highlighted all the repeating words. It sounds better if it's not the same word over and over again. One off the words we highlighted was 'he' then changed it for Harry.

Yesterday we read through it  together and added some paragaraphs. We got same people up to front to read aloud the fixed the story. Xavier, Rinaz and Sean were the narrators, main change and the character antagonist. Xavier was very scary.

This is not our writing we just had to fix the surface features. This is what we had to fix.

Mums had boyfriends before but we had not thought that they would ever find us maybe he was one of them looking for revenge but why would he come. mum would just move and how did he find us we live on the other side of the planet from where all of mums boyfriends were so how could he find us he might have put a tracker on mum when he last saw her or on one of the devises ‘Hello where are you I know your here you're going to tell me where you're mother is or you shall join your father... in the skies so which will it be death or freedom you have 10 seconds chose wisely’.

This is changes that I made:

This term we have been swimming in the big pool. We did big circles in the pool then we did Back strokes in the pool. We have some photos for you. And this is my group. Then we did a starfish.

10 hours earlier I would never have thought that aliens would come into town!




My Dad, my brother and I were so scared. Minutes before a ginormous tornado came out of nowhere.It was so big and gray it almost looked like there was a face on the tornado. So we all ran under shelter and all the buildings were collapsing.




But... BANG three parts collapsing down off a building and surrounding me. I am trapped. but eventually I crawled out of the building. It was scraping my legs it was really sore sssssss aaach




The coronavirus comes out of the storm. So we all ran inside we were scared we when under are bed my brother was screaming. aaaaahhhahah




The storm stops but the only thing on earth… The coronavirus everybody was screaming aaaaaaaaaaaaa





The Marvel team come to save the world just like always. They had a plan to make up to save the world.

The plan is to split up so we can kill all of them. There is too much we will not be Ableton kill all of them. Do not give up. I got a new plan.

Holes I guess I don't know.

 Hello my readers,

With my group we are reading the book and where to find out why Stanley had to go to camp green lake. Miss D a slide to do she put up shuffle some boots a lizard and lipstick here is a question that we ordered together. example: They need the shovel to dig and it’s muddy so they’re wearing boots and when they are digging they are in lizard territory and accidentally dig up a lizard. There was a place there before and someone lost their lipstick and its got covered in dirt and mud.

We are doing same questions about the book you can see the image whet book it is.
